Jai Rogers and Delta Community Credit Union
Delta Community Credit Union is among the top 25 largest credit unions in the United States. Their Vision: “We want to be metro Atlanta’s preferred place to bank, known for providing our members with honest value, superior service and trusted advice.” We have the pleasure of speaking with, once again, Ms. Jai Rogers, Vice President of Business & Community Development for the Delta Community Credit Union.
- It’s no coincidence that “community is in our name!”
- “We are actively involved with local chambers of commerce, schools and charitable organizations to this end and embrace the opportunity to give back to the communities where we live, work and serve.”
- “If our communities thrive, our members thrive and thus we thrive.”
- Delta Community Credit Union has 16 branches that actively work in communities both at the profit and non-profit level. As of 2023, they have provided $1 million in charitable fundind!
- An essential component working with organizations in the community is understanding the company and what their goals are and align with the focus of Delta Community Credit Union
- Focus: Financial literacy – teaching people in all stages of life about financial responsibility and planning for a strong financial future (starting as young at FIVE YEARS OLD all the way through retirement age – full life spectrum)!
- Involved with many organizations including Junior Achievement (JA); Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA); & Career, Technology, and Agricultural Education (CTAE)
- Philanthropy work includes workshops on financial responsibility, health and wellness, & education.
- Active involvement with CVC – Ms. Rogers recognizes CVC’s Points of Life Award won three times in a row – Congratulations!
