We had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. David Eady, Senior Manager, Industry Engagement with the Georgia Institute of Technology Scheller College of Business and the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business.

- Sustainability is a “mission multiplier” and maximize the value of our mission
- Drawdown Georgia Business Compact is Georgia’s initiative to do our part in helping to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050. This is based on the book, Drawdown, a comprehensive document of 100 solutions reduce of greenhouse gas emissions – goal being to mitigate climate change.
- Some critical initiatives – we need to increase efficiency, reduce/eliminate waste, utilize sustainability to integrate the social and environmental aspects of life
- Challenges to “green the grid”: Aviation, locomotives, coal, steel industries are really difficult to decarbonize. Looking for collaboratives opportunities.
- David collaborates with CVC to make Georgia environmentally conscience.
